Description
Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) is an opioid pain reliever, also known as a narcotic. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain.
Some medicines can interact with hydromorphone and cause a serious condition called serotonin syndrome. Make sure your doctor knows if you are also taking stimulant medications, herbal products, or medications for depression, mental illness, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, serious infections, or preventing nausea and vomiting. Ask your doctor before making changes to how or when you take your medications.
